Garden Heirloom Tomato Basil Salad with Cippolini Onions is made with a variety of tomatoes picked at their peak of ripeness!

handful fresh basil, chopped
sea salt & pepper
- Cut the tomatoes into bite size pieces, preserving the juices for the bowl/plate.
- Peel & slice thinly cippolini onions and scatter with tomatoes.
- Drizzle olive oil over the tomato & onion mixture.
- Top with basil. Add salt & pepper to taste.
Exact measurements were left out of this recipe as there is no right or wrong amount. It really depends on the sweetness of tomatoes, ripeness and your individual tastebuds for tomato salad. You may even add balsamic or other vinegar, if desired.
